*You can use erythritol as a caramel on top but please take note that you won’t be able to achieve the smooth consistency like allulose when it melts. Erythritol will crystallize as soon as it cools down so you’ll be having a grainy caramel on top of the flan. But nevertheless, it will still taste delicious.😋
*Pandan is a herbaceous tropical plant that grows abundantly in Southeast Asia. It is also known as “fragrant plant” because of its unique, sweet aroma. … Pandan (Pandanus amaryllifolius) is also sold as a paste, extract, and powder, which are used to flavor desserts which is also gluten and sugar-free.
*Ube is the Filipino word for purple yam (Dioscorea alata). It is cooked with sugar and eaten as a sweetened dessert or jam called ube halaya, which has a bright violet color. It is obviously loaded with carbs so people in keto uses extract which is gluten and sugar-free.
