If you would like to save money ( over $300/year!!) try using Nordhus Design Swedish Dish Clothes from Amazon. I no longer use paper towels ( which have become so expensive!!) One pack of the Swedish dish clothes last about a year. I do put them in the washer on a weekly basis, and let air dry. I hang them to dry on my sink faucet, they do not smell.

For the last seven years, I have been living the Mediterranean Diet lifestyle and miraculous things have occurred!!! I have lost 60 pounds, maintained 25% body weight, maintained a weight of 133 pounds, and am currently training for a body building contest at the age of 58….
I do gain weight each winter and use the “Keto Power” to quickly burn fat. For my initial weight loss of 40 pounds and 33 inches I used “Keto Power” for 3 months starting in January 2017 and was 125 pounds by May 2017. When I stopped using Keto and transitioned to my Mediterranean lifestyle, I gained five pounds.

To use “Keto Power” to lose fat quickly, fast until noon after drinking collagen coffee. Eat a HUGE healthy salad with a rainbow of veggies and full-fat dressing. I add cheese and 30 grams of protein. Sometimes I will eat chicken salad on the side. I then eat a snack around 5 PM of Keto bread, salami and cheese. For dinner I eat a large portion of grilled veggies and protein. I do use my KaceysKeto.com recipes to make yummy, Keto friendly dinners…. For dessert, I have a glass of Prosecco or Chardonnay. The goal is too drink lots of water and hot tea all day, eat around 50 grams of carbs a day, and 100 grams of protein per day. If you are larger you will need .75 grams of protein per kilo of body weight, never to exceed 200 grams. Try to get your protein from natural sources versus protein powder
Meal prep can be feel overwhelming at first, but I have discovered some short cuts that have let me meal prep in less than 2 hours for the last seven years!! I have been a single mom to three teenage boys, worked long hours as a teacher, and commuting up and down two mountains, so it is possible to find the time to meal prep…. YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!!

These are my steps I do each week when I meal prep:

1. On Tuesday, I take a look in my fridge to see if anything needs to be eaten up soon before it goes bad. Such as red peppers, avocado, mushrooms, etc…..
2. On Wednesday, I start writing a list on a white envelope, food on the front, dry goods on the back. I put where I will buy the food that has the cheapest prices. I then put my coupons in the envelope.
3. I save time by cooking my 10 favorite meals and rotating through my meals. MY meals are: turkey burgers, turkey chili, turkey tacos, stuffed poblano pepper with roasted chicken, queso, and avocado, Bolognese sauce with zoo-noodles or chick pea pasta, Bolognese stuffed bell peppers, salmon, grilled pork chops, grilled chicken thighs, Jamaican jerk drumsticks, Naan bread pizza, pork tenderloin, creamy mushrooms and chicken breasts, chicken tenders…..
4. I stock up on essentials at Sam’s Club: chicken stock, diced tomatoes, canned chicken breast, Prosecco and white wine, tomato sauce, Naan bread ( I keep it in the freezer), ground turkey, hamburger, black olives, olive oil, and chicken thighs and tenders.
5. I try to get my shopping done during the week, I shop at Pop Shelf for dry goods, Kroger, and Aldi’s.
6. On Sunday I cook one large meal and chop veggies for my salads. I sometimes make a homemade soup. I also make Keto bread, artichoke dip, and a quick and easy chicken salad… I will also boil eggs for my salad.
7. When I run out of my large meal, I bake salmon, fry up a burger ( and add blue cheese) or buy some pulled pork for a stuffed pork sweet potato.. I also will make a quick Naan bread pizza if I am not doing Keto.
