10 minute high protein + fibre power bowl 🥣

Building a balanced lunch can make all the difference in your energy levels and productivity for the rest of the day.

Start with a source of lean protein – I used wild mackerel from the tin in this for convenience plus they are packed with omegas and one tin is over 20 grams of protein – plus the egg to hit that 30 grams you want at every meal (sometimes more!).

This is going to fill you up faster so you won’t over eat as protein is the most satiating macro nutrient and the fibre will help send signals to your body that you are feeling fuller faster.

Healthy complex carbs will give you sustained energy for the rest of the day such as cooked and cooked organic potatoes I had made the day before. These act as a resistant starch, meaning they feed the food gut bacteria in your gut and resist digestion. Don’t forget to add in colorful veggies, which are packed with essential vitamins and minerals. I used pea shoots, tons of dill and @wildbrine beet sauerkraut. I included capers as well which pack of pinch of flavour and are great for immunity! I used grainy dijon mustard as lemon for the dressing along with quality sea salt.

Finally, include a small amount of healthy fats, like, quality evoo to support brain function and keep you satisfied. This combination ensures you get a well-rounded meal that fuels both body and mind. 🌟🍽️

This was SO easy to throw together in less than 10 mins!
