Spring Dessert: Strawberry Lasagna. So So Good!
Strawberry Lasagna
Ingredients
Cookie Crust
• 11 ounces vanilla wafers (crushed)
• 8 tablespoons salted butter melted
Mix well and press into a 9×13 lasagna pan. Minimum 2” deep.
No Bake Cheesecake Layer
Mix together:
• 8 ounces cream cheese (room temperature)
• ⅔ cup powdered sugar
• ¼ cup sour cream (room temperature)
• 8 ounces whipped topping (thawed) and folded into mixture
Spread on top of cookie crust.
Strawberry Layer
Mix together
• 3 oz strawberry gelatin (1 box)
• ¾ cup boiling water
Wisk for 2 minutes to dissolve gelatin then add in then add in
• ¼ cup ice cubes
• ½ cup heavy cream (room temperature)
Wisk together well then add in
• 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries (chopped)
Fold in
• 8 ounces whipped topping (thawed)
And spread over cheesecake mixture
Garnish
• 8 ounces whipped topping (thawed) spread on top of strawberry layer
Top with
• fresh strawberries
• Vanilla wafer crumbles
Place in refrigerator for at least 4 hrs to chill before serving.
Crust options:
Can also use graham crackers or Golden Oreos crushed for crust
